The Tercel odometer said I traveled 330 miles between fuelstops, and I still had a quarter of a tank left. I liked that. Butwhat I liked more was the cost of refueling – eight U.S. dollars forenough regular unleaded gasoline to move the fuel gauge needle full again.

I was ready to celebrate. I almost bought a hamburger. But thegreasy smell, put out of the rest area fast food restaurant has an endto this idea. I mean, hey, buying gasoline is one thing, but the payment toget gas is something else.

The car was extensively renovated in 1983, 1987 and 1991 and 1995. Toyota Tercel 1983 1984 1985 1986 1987 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 Repair Pro Service Manual
